On 13 March 2015 in St. Peter’s Basilica and in the bull of Indiction Misericordiæ Vultus of 11 April 2015, our most Holy Father, Pope FRANCIS, proclaimed an Extraordinary Jubilee of mercy beginning this year on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and ending on the Solemnity of Christ the King 2016 and whereas in the aforementioned Bull of indiction the holy Father also granted the faculty to local ordinaries to designate churches other than the Cathedral Church to have a holy Door by which the plenary Indulgence may be gained (MV3), with this
DECREE
We designate
THE SCHOENSTATT SHRINE, CLACHAN OF CAMPSIE
to have a Holy Door during the period of the Year of mercy and that all who pass through this door will receive the plenary Indulgence, the usual conditions being fulfilled. We further stipulate that this decree should be affixed to or near the Holy Door during the Exraordinary Jubilee of mercy
