Schoenstatt Scotland is an iconic Retreat and Pilgrimage Centre with a rich history and charm, nestling in a totally captivating seventeen acre setting.

A heavenly garden, peaceful and tranquil, with the Shrine as its centre. Home to the community of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary.  A place of grace and pilgrimage.  If anything rightly defines us, it is the significance we ascribe to lasting memories. Building on nearly three decades of experience; our Retreat Centre has endowed us with a rich tradition of genuine hospitality.  The views from its bedrooms offer an uninterrupted panorama of the Campsie Fells or our extensive gardens.

Our ‘Time-Out’ breaks comprise simple relaxation and ‘you’ time.  Arrive at the Retreat Centre on a full-board, basis where you will experience good food in good company.  It is well established that individuals today are quite literally burning themselves out by not getting enough ‘me-time!’  Most people find it almost impossible to switch-off, leading to increased stress and tiredness, even to the point of mild depression.

It does not matter how you come to term the break you so intimately require, whether it be a pause from the world, an intermission, taking a breather, a break, an interlude, whatever; you will be rewarded with peace and quiet whenever you require it, the opportunity to catch up on reading, on being yourself, going to sleep and getting up when you wish, spending your days wandering around the estate, or going for a drive to explore the area.

For example, for that Scottish Flavour, there are several distilleries you could visit.  Glengoyne Distillery is open all year round. Auchentoshan Distillery also offers tours and there are several others. Wonderful shopping in the centre of Glasgow is either 50 minutes away by public transport, or 30 minutes by car. Your day is your own.

A ‘Time-Out’ break at Schoenstatt Scotland is an act of kindness to yourself.

Experience a welcome you will never forget. It is a time to be quiet, a time to relax and enjoy!  It can become the perfect escape to write, to read and to rest and restore in breathtaking scenery. Dates for these events are to be confirmed. £179. per person for three days ‘Full Board Accommodation.’
