Sr. M. Margareta
Sister M. Margareta Bittner joined the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary in 1962. After the Noviciate, she was privileged to meet the founder of Schoenstatt, Fr. Joseph Kentenich just before she sailed off to Cape Town, South Africa. There she spent 20 years teaching and doing movement work. In 1986 she was transferred to Scotland to work with the movement, co-ordinate the building of the Shrine and Centre and is still working there welcoming guests. |

Sr. Mary-Elsbeth
Sister Mary-Elsbeth Owens, born in Glasgow, joined the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary in 1983. Her initial training took place in Schoenstatt where she spent a number of years. In February 1992 she returned home to work at the Schoenstatt Centre at Campsie Glen where she worked until 2004. From 2004-2010 she worked in Cape Town, South Africa after which she returned to Campsie Glen. |

Sr. M. Claire
Sister M. Claire Gussow is English and joined the sister's community in 1993. She did her initial training in Schoenstatt and spent some years in the various houses there. Then she spent seven years in Cape Town, South Africa. She arrived in Campsie in November 2003. Since 2008 she returned to work fulltime in her profession as a podiatrist in the NHS, returning only to the centre at weekends. |

Fr. Michael Savage
Father Michael Savage is a priest for the Archdiocese of Glasgow and has also been a member of the Schoenstatt priests' institute since 1981. Along side his parish work he frequently visits the shrine and centre to help out with visiting groups and celebrating mass. He feels that going to Campsie Glen is a wonderful and necessary way to relax in the peace of the shrine recharge the spiritual batteries. |
