Pilgrim Mother – Welcome to Scotland Yes, joy of joys, the Pilgrim Mother is coming to Campsie! The Auxiliar Pilgrim Mother, currently touring Europe, will arrive at our Shrine on the 2nd of March and will remain with us until the end of April. The Pilgrim Mother is an exact replica of the one which John Pozzobon carried throughout Brazil. An Exchange of Love and Hearts

The Schoenstatt Centre, Campsie Glen, was the venue for a unique celebration for couples on the Saturday following Valentine's Day. The couples, all members of the Family group, met at the centre to share a gourmet meal in the specially constructed "Valentino Bistro " which had been beautifully prepared by Sister Margareta working closely with Jim and Fiona Kennedy. Pilgrim Mother visits Campsie Glen 18th April 2012
(A Hundred thousand welcomes) On Friday evening 2rd March 2012, Our Lady in the form of the Pilgrim Mother Auxiliar, touched down on British soil when she landed at Heathrow airport for the connecting flight to Glasgow. Our Lady, our soon to be crowned Queen, was able to quietly bless the whole of the British Isles as she silently and hidden flew on her journey to the Shrine here at Campsie Glen. Pilgrim Mother Campaign

The fruits of the Pilgrim Mother Rally (22nd April) were reflected in the apostolate of the co-ordinators from St Bride's Parish in East Kilbride. On their return from the Rally, the Legion of Mary who has been promoting the ‘Pilgrim Mother' through their work for the past 24 years, were encouraged by Fr Ness (Administrator) to invite the parishioners to participate in the Campaign especially during the month of May. Unity Cross

A new bronze Unity Cross will be erected in the Schoenstatt grounds here at Campsie Glen. The cross, made by the Brothers of Mary, arrived from Schoenstatt, Germany in February 2012. The Unity Cross originated in Chile in 1960, was originally a symbol of the Schoenstatt Fathers who wanted a symbol to reflect the unity of Christ and Mary.
