Stations of the Cross 2008 marked the earliest Lent for over a century. Sr M Xavera Deininger, Schoenstatt Sister of Mary (1920 - 2008) Founding Sister of Schoenstatt in Scotland In Scotland we are very aware of how Scots have travelled to other countries, settled and contributed greatly to the peoples of those places. Covenant Cross returns


Cross of the Covenant is raised again 18th May 2008
Almost exactly a year ago the Cross of the covenant a Celtic cross which over looks the Scottish Shrine was removed for restoration. It was originally dedicated to Sr Xavara celebrating the 25th anniversary of her arrival in 1987 for all the work she did in founding Schoenstatt in Scotland. Sadly Sr Xavera herself died at the beginning of April just as the restoration work was being finished. Luigo Crosio video presentation

Based around the investigations of the last few years we now have a video presentation on the life and work of Luigi Crosio, the artist who painted Schoenstatt's Mother Thrice Admirable picture. In it we visit Acqui Terme where he was born and Turin where he studied worked and raised a family. It is still very much a work in progress and it is hoped that more information will come to light which will tell us something more about the man and his work. 25th Jubilee of Priesthood

On 2nd July this year the Schoenstatt family gathered with the family and friends of Fr Michael Savage to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of his ordination. During his homily Fr Michael thanked his parents, his family and the movement for the wonderful support they have given him over the years of service as a priest.
