The Annual Retreat for the Inverness group nearly didn't happen this year. Sr Margareta was preparing everything and then had to call off. Frantic phone calls ensued and Fr Michael took up the baton. We met down in the halls of St Mary's Church in Inverness with people from all round the district. The topic for reflection and discussion was Rublev icon on the Trinity. The talk looked at the icon as a window on the divine and a meditation on understanding scripture as both word and image are closely entwined in the icon.
