The Annual October celebrations marking the founding of Schoenstatt and the crowning of the MTA picture took place this year on Sunday 19th Otober.
Archbishop Conti was due to celebrate the mass but had to go to Rome for the Popes 25th anniversary celebrations and the consistory for Archbishop O'Brien. Mgr John Gilmartin as the Vicar General for the Archdiocese of Glasgow came in the archbishop's place. The Crowning marked the end of the October Conference which took place the day before. The conference decided to retain last year's motto "Through your Covenant we build island of Grace". The focus this year will be on 'building' on what as been achieved over the last year. Over 250 people joined the family for this annual celebration. The music at the mass was supplied by the youth group from Christ the King Parish in Glasgow led by Kieran Docherty. [back] |
