Inverness Group Meetings

Inverness Schoenstatt group at Tain 1st April 2003
Since arriving in Tain in October 2002 much time and effort has been spent simply trying to establish a routine. My own experience tells me it can take about three years to feel properly bedded into a new parish and community. One group that has been a great help has been the local Inverness Schoenstatt group. Many members are known to me for many years now. Shortly after landing in the Highlands I met up with Jean and Karl Storey at Muir of Ord where we discussed the possibility of having regul... [more]

As members of the Schoenstatt Movement in Scotland we feel the time is right to begin working for this symbol. Working has a twofold meaning, spiritual and practical. We have to understand the meaning of the symbol, what its importance is and for this we include learning about the Holy Spirit and the influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We have been doing this throughout this ye... [more]

Laying of the Foundation Stone in Rome

The Foundation stone 8th December 2003
Schoenstatt has set up many shrines and centres over the years, however being able to establish a proper centre at the heart of the Church has a special significance. As we enter the new millenium and will soon celebrate the 100th anniversary of Schoenstatt's founding this is probably one of the most important projects in recent years under taken by the whole Movement.
