Ballencleroch house

We wish to offer our guests and visitors a natural and supernatural home in Schoenstatt.

Ballencleroch house first opened in 1995. The house is a regional centre of the International Schoenstatt movement. Every centre can be recognised by two special features, the Formation Centre and the Schoenstatt Shrine. For more information on the Shrine

The Formation centre are places of education and Spiritual formation offer a wide range of facilities for Individuals and groups.

Every room has toilet and shower facilites and furnished with an armchair plus writing desk. If you wish you can also make yourself tea and coffee. The north facing rooms have a wonderful view on to the Campsie fells, while the south facing rooms look out onto the patio with its fountain and rockery garden.



Function hall and stage


Library

St Joseph's house has a further 2 double rooms and a single room. For guests using this house the upper section is a self contained flat with all necessary cooking and washing facilities.
The lower part of the house has a large room and is open for day guests and those dropping by to visit the shrine, with facilities for making tea and coffee. There is also a well stocked Piety shop with books, rosaries and many other items of a devotional nature

Function Rooms
There are function and meeting rooms that can be adapted for large or small conferences.

For conferences there are also different media available e.g. slideprojector, video, flipcharts and cd players. Ask for what is available.

Children's Room and Library
If the children are happy so are Mum and Dad! We provide a special room equipped for the wee ones, a library is available for relaxing and taking things easy.
